Synopsis: Years ago, Cajita fled his home in a shipping crate and arrived in Miami, Florida. Now he’s living off the grid, performing odd-jobs for an upper-middle class Latinx family, and saving money in the hopes to eventually buy a home for the estranged family he left behind. But when a series of events forces Cajita out of his solitary life, he embarks on a journey that pushes him to engage with his community in search of something lost. Along the way it becomes more and more apparent that even though he successfully emigrated to this country, he has psychologically never left his crate.
